Our Favorite Food Spots in Massapequa (Yes, We Talk About More Than IT)

We spend most of our time on this blog talking about compliance, backups, and response times — but we’re a Long Island company too, and every once in a while it’s worth stepping away from the server room to talk about what actually makes this community feel like home. Our team is based right here in Massapequa, and after years of client visits, lunch runs, and after-work stops, we’ve got some strong opinions on where to eat. Here’s the short list.

All American Hamburger Drive-In

There’s no version of this list that doesn’t start here. All American Hamburger Drive-In has been serving Massapequa off Merrick Road since 1963, and it’s still exactly what a Long Island summer night is supposed to look like — pull up, order at the window, and eat at an outdoor table under the neon sign while the griddle keeps working behind you. The quarter-pounder with cheese is the move, dressed simple with onion, pickle, and ketchup, and the fries are cut and peeled fresh rather than pulled from a freezer bag. Grab a thick shake while you’re at it. If you only try one thing on this list, make it this one.

Calda Pizza

Massapequa has no shortage of pizza places, but Calda Pizzeria & Restaurant on Hicksville Road consistently comes out on top with locals, and it’s easy to see why once you’ve had a slice. Solid crust, a sauce that doesn’t overpower, and a full menu of pasta, calzones, and paninis behind it if you’re settling in for a real dinner instead of a quick slice on the way home.

Finn’s Deli

Tucked into a strip mall and easy to drive past if you don’t know to look for it, Finn’s is where a lot of our team ends up for breakfast before a busy day of client visits. The breakfast sandwiches are the draw — simple, fast, and consistently good, with the kind of counter service that makes you feel like a regular by your second visit.

The Good Life

When the occasion calls for sitting down rather than eating in the car, The Good Life in Massapequa Park is our go-to. It’s got that cozy English-pub feel, a solid craft beer list, and a menu that swings from classic comfort food to lighter options without missing a beat — reliable enough that we’ve used it more than once for a client dinner without a second thought.

Our Two Cents

None of this has anything to do with IT support, and that’s kind of the point. We’re not a call center in another state reading your ticket off a script — we’re your neighbors, and we’re just as likely to run into you at All American on a Friday night as we are to be on the phone fixing your network on a Monday morning. That’s the whole idea behind working with a local MSP: the people keeping your systems running actually live here too.
